PALM FRUIT SUPERFOOD

WHAT IS PALM FRUIT?

For all of my life, almost all Vitamin-E supplements were manufactured from rancid and toxic oils. Nothing much has changed today.

Vitamin-E manufacture always seemed so ridiculous to me, mainly because Vitamin-E is a powerful anti-oxidant which prevents aging by destroying free-radicals, while the rancid oil it’s made from is loaded with disease-causing free-radicals. This doesn’t make any sense and is a dirty little secret of the oil and Vitamin-E manufacturers. For this reason, I have always preferred to get my Vitamin-E from eating whole foods.

Vitamin-E is in all vegetable oils, and can be extracted and manufactured from all of them. The most common way (and cheapest) is from corn oil and other cheap oils produced by companies, which control the market on oil seed cultivation and production. This oil is intensely processed and refined through a bleaching process and deodorized as part of the normal steps in creating regular vegetable oils until a sludgy, semi-solid substance is created. This sludge is then further refined, purified and filtered until you finally arrive at the so-called natural Vitamin-E.

Since Palm fruit derived Vitamin-E manufacture does not need bleach, deodorizers, and over-refining during processing, it is of an extremely high quality. Because it is not highly refined, it naturally preserves a balanced mix of tocopherols and tocotrienols, which are missing from other Vitamin-E supplements. It also has the additional health-promoting plant nutrients such as squalene, plant hormones and orange-pigmented carotenoids that are not found in the heavily manufactured and synthetic Vitamin-E either.

As with most things, all Vitamin-E is not the same. Most Vitamin-E supplements contain just one type of tocopherols, but there is another higher quality form of Vitamin-E called tocotrienols, which is an even more effective form of Vitamin-E, and Palm fruit is rich in them.

Palm fruit is one of the richest sources of Vitamin-E known and contains more Vitamin-E than any other vegetable oil known. Palm fruit oil assimilates easily and is proven to dramatically increase blood levels of Vitamin-E. (As I always say, it’s not how much you take but how much you assimilate!) This makes it a powerful antioxidant removing free-radicals and promoting longevity. Palm fruit is also exceptionally high in carotenoids, like alpha and beta-carotene, having about 15 times that of carrots. It also contains about 50 times the lycopene of tomatoes.

WHAT’S IN PALM FRUIT?

Palm fruit contains a balanced mix of tocotrienols and tocopherols, including d-Alpha-tocotrienol, d-Beta-tocotrienol, d-Gamma- tocotrienol, d-Delta-tocotrienol and d-Alpha-tocopherol, giving you a total 100% of your RDA of both tocotrienols and tocopherols. Plus, naturally occurring plant squalene, phytosterol complexes and mixed carotenoids.
